Bonnie Jean Helm
 

Bonnie loved to entertain. She loved to get together with family and friends and cook and have a good time. And everybody loved to get together with Bonnie to have a good time and eat her amazing food!

Bonnie left us in January of 2005, but her spirit will remain with those of us who were fortunate enough to know her for the rest of our lives.
The funeral that celebrated Bonnie's life was just the way she would have wanted it. It was an event. The thing that would have probably surprised her was how inspiring it was. It was very apparent that she had affected many people throughout her life. Bonnie knew how to be a friend and she understood the importance of friendship.

Many of Bonnie's girlfriends were at her funeral, women that had been her friends for nearly 40 years! They used to have "Girls Club" parties. They would celebrate birthdays, play silly games, and eat lots of good food. On that day in January when we had to say goodbye to Bonnie, these women had such fond memories and many, many laughs.

Today, Bonnie's children are friends with the children of her girlfriends. We hope that our Girlfriends Club helps all of us to leave the same kind of legacy as Bon Bon.
