| Dear
Isabel,
It's almost Christmas! Are you excited? We've all been very busy here at the North Pole preparing for Christmas Eve. Mrs. Claus has just finished mending and cleaning my red suit. I had it covered with ashes and soot from sliding down so many chimneys last year. The elves are just about done with all the toys. You're going to love what we have for you, Isabel. Rudolph just lit up his red nose to let me know that the sleigh is working great and we won't have any trouble making it to Missouri. I just finished checking my list twice to see who's been naughty or nice. That's why I had to send you a letter. I see that you have been an especially good girl this year! You are practically at the top of my list! I am so proud of you. I was very pleased to hear about you learning to write your name! I also see that you have been a very good friend to Taylor. You are such a good girl. I just can't wait to give your special present to you! Isabel, I'd like to ask you to do a favor for me. Will you and Gino, Jillian, and Christopher please leave a snack out for me on Christmas Eve? I will be very hungry by the time I get to your house in Blue Springs. Oh, could you leave a carrot or an apple out for the reindeer, too? They work very hard and will be thankful for the treat. The reindeer and elves are ready to take a break from all their hard work. They want to go play in the snow. Keep being good and kind, Isa, and enjoy the holidays. I can't wait to come to Blue Springs again to see you on Christmas Eve. I hope you get a good night's sleep and have sweet dreams! Merry Christmas, Isabel! Love, Santa Claus |
